Festivities through the founding of Guayaquil
In July, Guayaquil starts its festivities welcoming Pope Francisco with a proclamation that will take place in the Alberto Spencer Stadium at 11:00. More than 20 cultural, musical and religious events will be held throughout this month and seek to attract domestic and foreign visitors. The city spend over $ 185,000 in the festivities, according to estimates by the Municipal Tourism Company that yesterday released the agenda.
One of the bets for this month is once again the Raices Food Fair, which will open on July 23 at the Convention Center. 46 “huecas” will participate, of which 40 are from Guayaquil and 6 are guests from other cities.
The nautical parade is scheduled for July 24, the same that will tell the story of Guayaquil and the legend of Posorja. The parade “Guayaquil is my destiny in its festivities” will be organized in three stages, there will be six floats, including one in tribute to Pope Francis.
