goal-line technology
Companies GoalRef and Hawk-Eye will be responsible for implementing a technology system in the goal line, once given the official permission by FIFA to install technology worldwide.
The agency reported that after installing the systems in stadiums, they will pass a final inspection where they’ll check, through an independent research institute, if the operation were correct.
Once approved “installation final test”, the stadiums will receive the distinctive quality of the governing body of world football, “FIFA Quality Pro”. Only those who have the same can be used in official matches. This system will debut in the Club World Cup in Japan.
