Foreign Minister Ricardo Patiño cancel an interview with CNN

Foreign Minister of Ecuador, Ricardo Patiño, was supossed to have an interview with CNN in Spanish last night.

30 minutes before the begin of the interview, Patiño decided to cancel it because the news network did not agree with a request made by him.

Patiño asked not to be questioned on the issue of diplomatic suitcase which was the transportation of drugs from Ecuador to Italy, but CNN did not accept that request.

Between the ministry and CNN there was no agreement on the subject, that is why the interview was not performed.   (PLS)
