Foreign Ministers of Ecuador and Colombia Meet

Foreign Ministers of Ecuador and Colombia, Ricardo Patiño and Maria Angela Holguin
Ecuador‘s foreign minister, Ricardo Patiño, and the foreign minister of Colombia, Maria Angela Holguin, will meet today in Guayaquil, to strengthen relations between both countries, stated the Foreign Ministry in a statement.
The main purpose of the meeting is to review and evaluate the implementation of binational agreements and follow their development. In addition to reviewing the possibility of agreeing new strategic lines to strengthen bilateral relations, the statement said.
Holguin will arrive in the morning and then give way to a meeting between delegations of both countries to address the issues scheduled.
In the afternoon, Patiño and Holguin will offer a press conference to report the results of the meeting. (MZ)
