Francis asks for the Christian faith to be reflected in behavior
Pope Francis asked before thousands of parishioners who gathered today in St. Peter’s Square during the Regina Coeli, one of the four hymns to the Virgin Mary in Catholicism, for the faith of the Christians to be reflected in the behavior of each one.
The Supreme Pontiff called to “manifest the sacrament we have received in life”, before the faithful who cheered him during several occasions in his short message read in Italian.
Francis reminded parishioners during his speech that the sacraments and the Christian faith must translate into “behavior, gestures and elections” in everyday life. After this the Pope greeted the attendees from the window of the study of the Apostolic Palace.
The Pope number 265 will visit Monday to the tomb of Peter, the first appointed Pope, in the Vatican necropolis, to pray in the afternoon with Cardinal Angelo Comastri.
