Glas Viejo case awaits paternity test
Jorge Heriberto Glas Viejo, accused of the alleged rape of 13-year-old minor, didn’t attended the paternity test scheduled for last Tuesday of October 2 at 09:00 (GMT) in the Red Cross of Guayaquil.
However Maritza Bravo, the sponsoring lawyer, attended the location with the mother of the girl, the teenager and the 8-month infant; Dr. Priscila Ordenana, Medical Officer of the Judicial Unit of the Family, Women and Children and Adolescence of Guayas was also present.
The attorney stated that the absence of Glas Viejo is because the apprehension order given against him last September 18. However she did criticized the absence of the legal representatives of the accused.
“They have sent letter concerning the bank account where the support money must be deposited according to the order given by the judge, but they haven’t said anything regarding the absence of the DNA blood test,” pointed out the attorney Bravo. AV
