Eight countries in Latin America asked for funds for Venezuelan migrants In Quito, economic aid for Venezuelan diaspora is analyzed The President of the Republic, Lenin Moreno, received this Tuesday in audience the American philanthropist William Rhodes and the Dutch epidemiologist Cristina Valencia to talk about the Venezuelan exodus and the mechanisms of international cooperation.
Rhodes and Valencia presented to the Head of State a plan that will give Ecuador a guide on how to treat and assimilate the mobility of Venezuelan citizens. Valencia said they will continue communication with government authorities and international agencies on how to support Ecuador and Venezuelan citizens.
The Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion, Berenice Cordero, said that any kind of technical support or guidance regarding the priorities of attention to people in situations of human mobility is welcome. (I)
