Historical Position of Ecuador in FIFA’s Ranking

 For the first time ever, the Ecuadorian soccer team was ranked No. 13 ° on the monthly ranking of the International Federation of associated soccer (FIFA), surpassing world cup soccer teams as Brazil and Uruguay.

Until now, the highest position achieved by the Ecuadorian TRI was the 17th. At the end of the year, the Ecuadorian team is ranked second within the South American World Cup Brazil 2014.

The FIFA ranking has been carried out taking into account the results of 900 games, more than half of them -465 – friendly and just over a quarter -257 – qualifying games for the 2014 World Cup to be held in Brazil. The next update of the FIFA national teams table wiil be on January 17, 2013.
