Hugo Chavez Shows Vitality After his Reelection Candidacy
The president of Venezuela, Hugo Chavez sang, danced and gave a long speech to present his candidacy for the reelection. Chavez showed what his campaign had to offer and that he will prove the Venezuelans that the cancer that assails him will not defeat him.
The 57-year-old leader looked tired, swollen and pale when he entered the National Electoral Council on Monday to register his candidacy. Chavez stated “We are just warming up the engines here,” afterwards he attacked his adversary Henrique Capriles by saying “he will run out of gas.”
Chavez stated that despite he is assailed by cancer he is ready to begin with his campaign and win with a “Knock out” the presidential elections of October 7.
However Chavez has limited his public presentations due to his sickness, on the other side his counterpart, Henrique Capriles, 39, show his youth vigor after walking 10 km through the city while accompanied by a large crowd of his supporters. (AV)
