International Arrest Order for Moria Casan

This morning, Praguayan Judge Alberto Sosa issued an arrest order for Moria Casan and her colleagues Luciano Garbellano (assistant) and Alexis Sotto, in the case of alleged theft of the jewelry loaned to the Argentinean artist.

The court order is given under the order of the attorneys Claudia Criscioni and Stephanie Gonzalez, who charged Casán and her staff for the theft. This complaint must go through a series of paperwork and legal steps, so it may take up to 72 hours to take effect.

The case which involves Casan, who is currently a member of the staff of Show Match, occurs following the disappearance of a jewelry set that cost approximately $ 80,000, which were loaned to the star by jeweler Armando Benitez for a show in Paraguay provided by Casán on July 27. After the performance, such jewels were not returned.

The judge announced yesterday that a video would have been revealed which could compromise the actress of 65 years. The judge noted that this offense carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison.
