Investigation of Leslie Rosero’s death is still ongoing

Prosecutor Galeano Balcazar arrived on Thursday along with four agents of the police homicide unit, at Quito Metropolitan Park to make a reconnaissance of the site where last Saturday were found the body of Leslie Rosero.

With the results of the autopsy was discarded the theory of suicide, and was determined that her death occurred by strangling, also his body had signs of being beaten.

According to the autopsy the young girl did not try to take her own life, the Prosecutor’s Office was responsible for sending to the laboratory several samples of her gastric juices, for the purpose of determining if Rosero consumed some type of medication.

Colonel Ramiro Ortega, head of the Judicial Police, said that so far they have taken five versions between family members and people close the student, but in the upcoming days are expected to get more.

Balcazar avoided to make a statement, since he argued that the case is still in the stage of preliminary investigation.
