Singer Katy Perry, known for her active and sustained support in Barack Obama‘s campaign, took part, today, in an event in favor of the re-election of the Democratic President and surprised the audience wearing a tight, bright blue minidress with the printed slogan, “Forward“.

The singer performed songs like “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green, “Teenage Dream“, “Part of Me“, “Wide Awake” and “Firework,” as images of the president, his wife Michelle and former President, Bill Clinton were shown on a screen.

It is the second time that Perry wears a dress that supports Obama; last week, in another act, the singer wore one representing a ballot paper with Obama and Vice President Joe Biden nominations marked.

Obama will face Republican candidate Mitt Romney in the presidential elections next Tuesday November 6. (MZ)
