Keiko Fujimori Swear To God Not To Pardon His Father

Posted On 20 Apr 2011

Keiko Fujimori, Peruvian Presidential candidate for the Fuerza 2011 party, vowed yesterday that she will not pardon his father, former President Alberto Fujimori who was sentenced in 2009 to 25 years prison due to violation of human rights.

“I have repeated it several times: it is neither my intention nor the purpose of the family, to pardon Alberto Fujimori; I ratified it as I have said it on several occasions,” said the candidate to the Peruvian press.

Former President Fujimori (1990-2000) obtained his conviction because he was the masterminded of the death of 25 people in two massacres carried out by a squad under his struggle against the guerrillas of the Communist Party of Peru -Sendero Luminoso, which has a Maoist ideology.
