“La Flaca” Guerrero Returns To The Small Screen

Posted On 31 May 2011
After three weeks of hospitalization and rest due to her accident, Ecuadorian TV anchor Maria Teresa Guerrero returned to the set of “En contacto” yesterday.

“La Flaca” could not bear to spend more time away from the cameras. She suffered two cracks in her jaw, had six broken teeth and injured her elbows when she was struck on May 10th in Samborondon, at the end of her training routine for the Iroman contest.

Guerrero promised her doctor to mumble due to her injured jaw, her mouth can only open an inch, which is why she can not eat solids and has lost 15 pounds. “I hope to be able to eat solids next month because otherwise I’ll disappear.”
