Left Leaders Collect Signatures in Guayaquil

Yesterday, the candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Alberto Acosta, was the main figure of the concentration organized by the Plurinationality Leaders of the Left in the Plaza San Francisco (downtown Guayaquil), due to collect signatures for Pachakutik (PK) and Movimiento Popilar Democratico (MPD).

“We are not defending only the candidacy of the Left but of the democracy,” Acosta said, adding that the directors of the National Electoral Council (CNE) should resign, reports El Comercio.

MPD and Pachakutik  failed the CNE signature review after the complaint of falsification of entries submitted to the agency.
