Liga de Quito Fan Died by Violence in Match against Emelec

Christian Calvache, fan of soccer team Liga de Quito, died this morning after several beatings suffered yesterday afternoon at Casa Blanca Stadium during the match against Club Sport Emelec.

Suarez, 35, who died at the Pablo Arturo Suarez Hospital of Quito, was removed in a Red Cross stretcher from Casa Blanca Stadium.

Juan Barriga, Liga de Quito’s doctor said that Calvache “came with a severe head injury” to the hospital. So far, specialists are awaiting the autopsy reports.
