The President of the Ecuador’s Football Federation (FEF), Luis Chiriboga, said that he has never received a check that related him to the corruption scandal shaking the FIFA.

“Never has existed a check on behalf of Luis Chiriboga. Ever”, said the leader to Super K 800 radio from Zurich, where he attended the election of the President of the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA).
Chiriboga said that the FEF received $ 1.5 million for the Copa America in Chile-2015 through “a direct bank transfer” of Conmebol, and that that money corresponds to a legal deposit for the participation of the Ecuadorian team in the tournament.
