Luis Zubeldia is the new Coach of Barcelona SC

Luis Francisco Zubeldia, was born in La Pampa, Argentina on January 31 of 1981. The president of Barcelona, Antonio Noboa made the official announcement and also added that Zubeldia will arrive to the country this Friday. Noboa informed El Universo that the Argentinean trainer has a contract until December of 2012.

Zubeldia made his first appearance as a coach in 2008 for the team Lanus, this marked him as the youngest coach of directing a team of the first division. His greatest achievement was when he managed the team to qualify to Copa Libertadores in 2009.

Meanwhile Maximiliano Cubero will be Zubeldia’s assistant and Pablo Sanchez will be the responsible for the physical training of the Barcelona players. (AV)
