Lula da Silva concluded cancer treatment

Former President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva concluded on Friday the treatment of chemotherapy and radiotherapy followed due to a larynx cancer, informed the hospital where he was treated.
A statement from the Syrian-Lebanese Hospital in Sao Paulo said the former leader of 66 years will undergo a reassessment of cancer in four or five weeks in order to determine if cancer has already passed.
Lula’s story is the subject of one of the blocks in the coming Carnival of Sao Paulo and he was planning to attend the parade on the weekend, but doctors advised him not to do it.
