Mexico’s Popocatepetl Volcano Rumbled to Life

Popocatepetl volcano, in Mexico near the capital city, today spewed an ash column that reached a height of about 3 kilometers, according to the National Center for Disaster Prevention (Cenapred) of the Ministry of the Interior in Mexico.
Currently the volcano warning light, which consists of three colors -green (normal), yellow(warning) and red (alarm) – is in yellow, and ash emission does not change the situation.
