Miami presents interactive displays on Latin music evolution
Posted On 05 Sep 2013
Starting today, the Spanish Cultural Center in Miami opens the interactive exhibition “A three-way,” which projects the Spanish and African influence on Latin American musical culture and its evolution in the last five centuries.
Albert Recasens, curator, said the exhibition aims to “start from the music that we all know and explore its identities” to “know what are the roots that formed Latin American music.”
The exhibition will be held in Miami until October 25 and has already been presented in Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Puerto Rico, among other countries.
Presented in an interactive way, visitors can immerse themselves in a visual journey and meet the influences of music from its beginnings to the present.
