Ecuadornews:

Lundin Gold will build an electric transmission line of 43.83 kilometers that will cross five parishes of two cantons (Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe).
This is the next milestone to be achieved by Lundin Gold in the Fruta del Norte gold project operations. The line will leave from the Bomboiza Substation owned by Celec and will arrive at the company-owned FDN Substation.

The development of this project demands the use of this energy to be conveyed in 230 kilowatts. The construction is still in the socialization process with the community, while a draft plan to apply for the operating license has been submitted. This was explained by Lundin Gold CEO Ron Hochstein, who also indicated that the gold obtained from the fourth quarter of 2019 would be exported from the port of Guayaquil.

According to Lundin Gold, the ecosystem will not be affected.  In its eagerness to obtain resources, the government of Rafael Correa has practically prostituted the Ecuadorian natural reserves to feed an obese state. The last natural site to be exploited was the Yasuni Park, in the Amazon. (I)
