The 25 candidates for Miss Universe Ecuador began their tour of different cities in the country. The official tour starts this Thursday in Machala.

The night of this Thursday, May 16, the Miss Universe Ecuador beauty pageant officially begins, with the imposition of the bands on the 25 candidates in Machala.
The event will be at 8:00 p.m. at Parque Juan Montalvo, open to the public. It is part of the festivity’s agenda for the Bicentennial of Machala and the candidates for queen of the Orense canton will also be presented.
The presenter of this gala will be Eduardo Andrade and the musical show is performed by Sandra Alvarado, Miss World Ecuador 2023.
What cities will the candidates visit?
According to a statement from the organization, so far, the tour of the Miss Universe Ecuador candidates begins and ends in Machala, the official venue of the final gala, on June 8.
Meanwhile, after the imposition of bands as candidates, the contestants will complete their tour through several cities in the country:
- May 17 and 18: They will be in Machala, they will make a formal visit to the mayor of the city, Darío Macas; and will participate in tourism promotion videos.
- May 19: The candidates for Miss Universe Ecuador will visit the city of Cuenca.
- May 21: They will be in Guayaquil to carry out different visits and activities.
- May 24: They will participate in a charity parade organized by Miss Supranational Ecuador 2024 Doménica Alessi, in Quito.
- On May 25: Election of the Typical Costume that will represent the country in the international Miss Universe pageant. The gala will be in Pujilí , Cotopaxi.
- May 27 and 28: They will visit Ambato to visit tourist spots and other activities.
- June 3 and 4: The 25 candidates will return to Guayaquil to carry out rehearsals prior to the election gala.
- June 5: The contestants will return to Machala, carry out different activities and prepare for the final gala. They will also receive the current Miss Universe Sheynnis Palacios who will participate in the final gala on June 8.
