Melvin Hoyos, director of Culture and Civic Promotion of the Municipality of Guayaquil, presents the exhibition “Treasures of our nature”, which will present many types of plants, birds, insects, rocks, shells, mollusks, crystals, mammals, fossils, among other species.

Hoyos said that in this exhibition, held at the Municipal Museum, is specified by the collaboration of several institutions in the city such as San José La Salle schools and Vicente Rocafuerte Espol (Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral) and the Botanical Garden.

The exhibition seeks to citizens know the diversity of plants, animals and minerals that are present throughout the country and you can see first hand in parks, forests, fields, seas and rivers. Also cultivate respect for the environment and, above all, you can launch a campaign to endow the medium term to the city of a natural history museum.

The exhibition will be open for a month and have input gratuita.Del 13 to 16 will take place next May a cycle of conferences on various topics that relate to the sample.
