Nasuti and Mondaini apologize for hard play during the Classic
Yesterday, it was confirmed that the Barcelona Sporting Club defender, Michael Arroyo, has a torn muscle in his left thigh and will be inactive for six weeks, due to the strong kick given by the Argentinean player Cristian Nasuti, last Sunday at the Clásico del Astillero.
“I want to apologize to Mr. (Michael) Arroyo for my reaction; I really got carried away by anger. I apologize and I hope he doesn’t have any important injury,” said Nasuti.
Also, Marcos Mondaini from Emelec apologized to the leadership of the club, the fans and José Luis Perlaza (Barcelona) for fouling him in the “Clasico del Astillero”, what caused his inmediate expulsion from the game at minute 19.
“I feel very guilty for what happened, for leaving my team with a man down. I feel a lot of guilt, it is a mistake I assume, “said Mondaini.
