Nebot Accuses Exitpoll of Fraud in the Referendum vote counting

This morning, Jaime Nebot, Mayor of Guayaquil reproached the current administration to deceive Ecuadorians while using their polling, a “rigged Exit Poll, to broadcast a landslide victory of the Yes, in the last referendum.

Nebot said: “Every serious and Democratic Ecuadorian rejects this disinformation maneuver. Later the quick count revealed that in a national level, a very tight result. In the current count that outcome begins to look even better for option “no.” Likewise, in Guayaquil he said “no” won in questions 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9.” This is the result of the count, we performed it technically, based on the actual voting records (…). “

According Nebot, the results were:

In question 3 on the prohibition of financial institutions and media owners to have equity participation in other companies, “no” is 45.83%, while “yes” is 45.30% ;

In question 4, on the replacement of the full Council of the Judiciary committee and a restructuring of justice “no” is 46% and “yes” 45.20%;       

In Question 5, on changing the composition of the Judicial Council, “no” is 45.99% and “yes “, 44.90%;       

In question 7 on the gambling business, “no” is 46.5% and “yes ” 44.37%;

In question 9 on the creation of a Council of Communication, “no” is 45.24%, and “yes “, 44.92%.
