Jaime Nebot (PSC-Madera de Guerrero) and Mauricio Rodas (SUMA), are the closer candidates to win the City Hall of Guayaquil and Quito, respectively, according to data from the polling companies Market and Cedatos Gallup, was reported on Tuesday afternoon.

According to the firm Market, on a research carried out between January 5 to February 8, Jaime Nebot had a voting intention of 52%, which on February 8 increased to a 55%.While the candidate Viviana Bonilla, of the Government movement Alianza Pais (AP) on January 5 she had a voting intention of 27% and  on February 8 reached 29%.
