Operational changes in elections of 2017
The National Electoral Council (CNE) for the general elections of 2017 aims to eliminate the intermediate scrutiny boards or at least generate operational changes to give to political delegates more access to the results of votes obtained, said Juan Pablo Pozo, president of the CNE.
The official explained that one option under study for 2017 is that each polling station function as an information and delivery of scrutiny station, ie no 83 intermediate scrutiny boards exclusively, but each station would deliver information under technical and operational procedures; thus there would not be agglomeration of information in the intermediate boards.
