Posted On 26 May 2014
During his visit to Jerusalem, Pope Francis asked for free access to the Holy Places for believers of the three monotheistic religions: Jewish, Muslim and Catholic.
“How beautiful is that pilgrims and residents can freely go to the Holy Places and participate in the celebrations,” said thePope.
Jerusalem has holy monuments for the three major religions, which are located in the part that the UN does not recognize within the boundaries of Israel.
