The consortium of Autonumous Provincial Governments of Ecuador (Congope), organizes a meeting to be held next May 12, in Quito, which will include 23 Provincial Governors of the country in order to integrate elected and reelected prefects who will enter in functions on 14 May.
Provincial authorities will exchange opinions aimed to institutional strengthening and the joint work for the benefit of the communities of their territorial jurisdictions.
They will also analyze the lines of action related to the productive development, roads, environment, productive matrix, land planning and exclusive competences of the provincial administration.
In the call of Congope further topics will be discussed, such as leadership, democracy and revocation of the mandate, updating of the development and land use Plan, change of the productive matrix, autonomy and decentralization, management and strengthening of the decentralized autonomous governments (GAD).
The meeting will be held from 11:00 in the Auditorium of the Congope headquarters, in the capital. It is also expected the presence of Viviana Bonilla, Coordinating Ministry of Politics, and Veronica Gallardo, Manager of the State Bank, among other authorities.
