President Correa inaugurates Santay-Durán pedestrian bridge
On the morning of September 16, President Rafael Correa, will bike along the pedestrian bridge that links the Santay island with the Durán county, as part of the inauguration. It will do so together with various local authorities and officials of the ministries responsible of the work.
The event will start from 09:50, in the Ria sector, in the streets El Oro and Eloy Alfaro, in Guayaquil.
Then he will go to the Naranjito and Milagro counties. In this last county, he will inaugurate the train station, located on the 9 de Octubre street and García Morenostreet, in the city center, which was intervened for remodeling works some months ago.
The visit to Milagro occurs on the eve of the 101th anniversary of the city, tomorrow September 17.
Correa will also take advantage of his passage through the famous ‘city of the pineapple’ to inaugurate a field where the “government platform” will rise in this city, revealed the morning of September 15 sources from the Presidency, which held a meeting with representatives of different county media.
