Rafael Correa Arrived to Cuba to Visit Hugo Chavez

Rafael Correa, president of Ecuador, arrived this Monday to La Habana, Cuba to visit his Venezuelan counterpart Hugo Chavez, who will submit himself to his fourth operation against the cancer he suffers.
Correa arrived to the Island on board of a plane of the Ecuadorian Air Force and was received at the International Airport of La Habana by the foreign minister, Bruno Rodriguez. The Ecuadorian leader traveled accompanied by the foreign minister Ricardo Patino, and the minister of communication, Fernando Alvarado.
Chavez left early in Monday morning to Cuba, where he will have a difficult surgery after suffering a recurrence of his cancer.
President Correa plans to return to Ecuador today.
