Rafael Correa said that Chavez had a “great mood”

Yesterday the President of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, made a surprise journey to Cuba to visit his Venezuelan counterpart, Hugo Chavez, who said he was in a “great mood“, and also met with the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro and with his brother Raul.
The Ecuadorian president, called “brother” Hugo Chavez said he was in “very good spirits“. However, the president of Venezuela, before returning to Cuba, manifested for the first time the risk of death or disablement and appointed as his political successor Nicolas Maduro his current vice president.
