Relatives of Fausto Valdiviezo request clarifications

The phrase “unusual relationship”, that according to the investigations, would have had the journalist Fausto Valdiviezo with their attackers, raised questions and complaints from his family members who  asked the authorities to clarify the true meaning and to expand the investigation to determine who fired the gun, where is the gun, the car and the masterminds.

The murder of Fausto Valdiviezo Moscoso, occurred on April 11 in La Atarazana (north of Guayaquil) and would be related to an alleged anti-social band engaged in illegal activities such as usury, human trafficking, money laundering and drug trafficking, said Interior Minister Jose Serrano.

Officials said that in the upcoming days will inform details of the investigations over the detainees Maribel Cordova Montero, Juan Carlos Ruiz Leon, Luis Alberto Procel Alarcon and Jose Enrique Roca Ladines and foreigners Tresa Adriatik,  from Albania, Dimitar Ivanov Petrov, from Bulgaria; and Nikolaos Grcgianakopoulos.

Also offered $ 50,000 for information about Ingrid Soraya Leon Bermudez and Juan Carlos Marín Londoño, alleged perpetrators.
