Posted On 28 May 2014
The Vice-President of the Food Sovereignty Commitee, Mauricio Proaño (AP), reported yesterday that the scope of the report for the second debate will be sent to the Presidency of the Assembly to convene to a plenary meeting in order to discuss the pre-legislative consult disagreements.
Once the debate is exhausted in the plenary, the document will return to the Commission, so it prepares the final document that will be voted.
“The debate is expanded because it is not subjected to a vote yet. While it is not in voting, supplies can be placed,” said Bayron Pacheco (Avanza).
Proaño said that it is also necessary to remove other items that were included in the project four years ago, when the process started, because there are other laws that have been currently issued and are alread contemplated.
