Romulo Barco’s Thief was Sentenced
The trial for Bruno Barco Betancourt murderers was scheduled for three months by his father Romulo Barco, however; the justice department sentenced one of the criminals. Judge Janina Mendoza gave the maximum penalty to the 16-year-old killer known as “Sin cejas” (without eyebrows).
The youth was apprehended after three days of the crime along with Carlos Alfredo Mendoza Mendoza, known as “Papucho.” Bruno was shot in the shoulder in November 20 of 2010 in the southeast of Guayaquil city. “Sin cejas” will be sent to the Centre of Teenager Delinquents of Guayaquil. There he will receive psychological treatment for his criminal behavior.
The feasible proof that leads justice to determine the implication of the youth was made by Romulo Barco who recognized the suspect in the hearing of the trial. However, Barco indicated that “Sin cejas” was not the one who shot at his son, but he was the one who mugged him and his dead son.
