Salvador Dalí’s work exhibited in Madrid
Since April 27 it is been exhibited in Madrid one of the most complete exhibitions of the works of Salvador Dali, which attempts to rediscover this irreverent artist.
The exhibition will be on display until next September 2, and is composed by the Gala-Salvador Dali Foundation, the Salvador Dali Museum in St. Petersburg (Florida, USA), and the Reina Sofia Museum, home of this exhibition.
With the main purpose of valuing the work of Dali, the exhibition features over 200 works, including paintings, drawings, designs, sculptures, writings, among other creations.
Dalí was a thinker, writer and creator of a particular worldview. The course of his work begins with paints of the first period in which predominate elements that marked his childhood. Then emphasizes a Surrealist phase and in particular the paranoiac-critical method developed by the artist as a mechanism of transformation and subversion of reality.
