Security and holiday with visit of the Pope Francisco to Ecuador

In the Guayaquil Samanes Park, began the works to remove the weeds and level the playing field in the surrounding areas to the Park, where will be the papal mass on July 6.
César Navas, Minister Coordinator of Security, announced that will Decree holiday in the country during the Pope’s visit, from 5 to 8 July, to facilitate the mobilization of thousands of people to the masses and other activities of the Supreme Pontiff.
On the issue of security, will be in charge of at least 18,000 volunteers and uniformed.
Navas added that the Popemobile will arrive in the coming days to Ecuador for the displacement of the Pontiff.
The Prefecture of Guayas, through inter-agency cooperation with the Archdiocese, gave $200,000 as a contribution to cover the costs demanded by the visit of the Pope Francisco.
