Spanish Unions Protest Against Rajoy Reform
Posted On 09 Mar 2012
This Friday the main Spanish unions, UGT and CCOO, announced a general strike that will start on March 29 in protest “against labor reform and in defense of public services.”
The conservative government of Mariano Rajoy is going to carry out this reform, which was approved on February 7th.
The unions said they had “the desire to maintain social pressure and workers after this date to amend this reform if the government does not correct and agrees to negotiate.”
