Sylka Sanchez confirmed that Alvaro Noboa left the country on March 20
Sylka Sanchez, judicial attorney of the Ecuadorian businessman Alvaro Noboa, said yesterday, during a press conference, that director of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Carlos Marx Carrasco, does not verify the sources from which he obtained information that allege that the former presidential candidate left the country on March 15 instead of March 20.
Sanchez said Carrasco statements intended to mislead the public opinion and proved with documents that Noboa’s departure was on March 20, once Migration lifted the ban, by order of constitutional Judge Yvonne Hernandez.
“With a distaste that the Ecuadorian SRI Director, Carlos Marx Carrasco, didn’t check and prove the source from which he obtained the information, the same with which it is intended to misinform the public opinion,” said Sanchez.
The lawyer believed there is enough evidence to show that Noboa worked with normality between March 15 and 20, at his office in Guayaquil, and engaged in private, commercial and social activities.
