Syrian forces of President Bashar al-Assad recaptured three Christian neighbourhoods in the historic heart of Aleppo from rebels. Many fierce confrontations occurred in different parts of the northern city.
Loyalists of the regime battled the rebels in Damascus, shelling districts and raiding hoses. Meanwhile the West is pressuring Bashar al-Assad’s government, while Britain joined the efforts of the United States against the threat of a possible chemical warfare in Syria.
Residents of Aleppo stated that there where heavy crossfire in the heart of the city during the army’s offensive strike to recapture neighbourhoods seized by the rebels. AV
