The collective Amazonía Vive, in favour of the exploitation of the ITT Yasuni National Park fields, arrived yesterday to the Electoral National Council (CNE), in Quito. They carried 22 cartons in a van. And there, 190,000 signatures supporting their initiative.
It was, their second delivery according to them. A few days ago they delivered 210,000 signatures. They hope to surpass the million of supporting signatures. Moreover, although they a term until june, they expect to provide all the material collected at the end of may, said the Mayor of Lago Agrio and one of the promoters of the initiative, Yofre Poma.
At his side, a large delegation of Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas in company of the Prefect, the Viceprefect and even the Governor of the Tsachila nationality. They wore their traditional costumes.
But they were not alone: the Aianza País leaders accompanied them in the delivery of signatures.
