The economic front of the new government has a committed staff of professionals who come from the private sector, something that could mean a turn in the tense relationship with the corporate sector the last ten years.

Rafael Correa had officials who were mostly scholars with studies abroad and with experience in the public sector in his ranks, in contrast, the current government is inclined to people with experience in the business sector.
