EcuadorNews:
Ecuadorian boxer Carlos Mina, 25, visualized himself stepping into the ring at the Tokyo Olympics 2020, and his starter will be preparing at the world’s best boxing gym: the Mayweather Boxing Club in Las Vegas, home of one of the best boxers in history, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
When Mina was defeated in Rio 2016 by the French Mathieu Bauderlique after a TKO, he never imagined that so many doors would open. “I did not believe it (going to the Mayweather gym), I thought they were referring to something else, they saw my talent and they will support me to continue evolving. In my country I have a high level, but if I want to continue growing I must go abroad to seek a better training plan and other conditions,” said Mina.
