Today, after an appeal made by the prosecution against the imputation of Princess Cristina of Spain, a judge suspended her statement, as imputes, within the corruption case where her husband, Iñaki Urdangarin, is accused of embezzlement.
In an order, Judge José Castro says that there si “no need to maintain” the date of April 27, as “its maintenance would turn ineffective and contentless the resource” of the prosecution, which should be resolved by the Provincial Court of Palma. Pedro Horrach, anti-corruption prosecutor, posted an appeal against the court’s decision to impute the Princess.
Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Garcia Margallo, said he fears that the Spanish monarchy scandal will affect Spain’s image abroad.
