In his weekly address, President Lenin Moreno exposed the seven questions that will be included in the referendum, before the approval of the Constitutional Court.
These are the questions for the referendum:
1.- Do you agree to amend the constitution so that persons convicted of acts of corruption cannot hold political office and their assets are taken away, as provided in Annex 1?
2.- Do you agree to amend the constitution to restructure the Council for Citizen Participation and Social Control, and terminate the functions of its members, and the transitional Council to assess the authorities, according to Annex 3?
3.- To guarantee the principle of alternation, do you agree to amend the constitution so that politicians are re-elected once for the same position once, rescinding indefinite reelection approved on December 3, 2015, through an amendment, according to Annex 2?
4.- Do you agree with the repeal of the Organic Law to Prevent Speculation on the Value of Land and Taxation, known as Capital Gains Law, according to Annex 1?
5.- Do you agree to increase the intangible area by at least 50,000 hectares and reduce the oil exploitation area authorized by the Legislature in the Yasuni National Park from 1030 hectares to 300 hectares?
6.- Do you agree to amend the constitution to prohibit, without exception, mining in protected areas and urban centers, as provided in Annex 5?
7.- Do you agree to amend the constitution to never prescribe sexual offenses against children and adolescents as provided in Annex 5? (I)
