Posted On 17 Mar 2012
So far 27 people have died and 97 were wounded after a pair of explosions in Damascus. Syrian State television blamed the Saturday morning explosions to terrorists. The blasts targeted buildings that belong to a customs office and air force intelligence.
According to the Syrian health minister, most of the casualties were civilians along with the security personnel near the intelligence center building in the Duwar Al Jamarek area. This is not the first that bombers have struck in the heart of Bashar al-Assad‘s power. (AV)
