IESS seizes two companies
The Provincial Social Security Institute (IESS) seized the assets of a company of weight loss treatment and other of textile clothing. The procedure was performed by charging employers for delayed payments.
From the weight loss company it was confiscated equipment such as computers, scales and desks.
Ivan Espinel, IESS current provincial director, said that this case has a total debt of $ 424,578 that corresponds to the sum of five and fourteen glosses credits, including payroll contributions and reserve funds. In the company 54 members are affiliated.
While garment of manufacturing the company has $ 112,258 of delayed payments in the amount of 16 glosses and four credits. Espinel said there will be an inventory of the movable workshop and added that the company has no overdue purge agreement or has requested it.
Espinel indicated that they could pay 40% of the amount causing the embargo to be lifted and sign some other type of agreement if they wanted. Both companies did not comment on the embargo for their delayed payments.
