Undersecretary of the United States arrives to Ecuador

The undersecretary of state of the United States for Latin America, Roberta Jacobson, will come today to the country to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas of common interest.The Undersecretary will address issues of education, trade, security, cultural heritage and clean energy.

Jacobson  will stay  in Quito from 2 to 5 November.

Her agenda includes a meeting with representatives of the Ecuadorian government and the political, economic and media sectors, business leaders and civil society to “discuss future collaboration and commitments”.

Ecuadorian Foreign Minister, Ricardo Patiño, said the Ecuadorians required by the justice of his country will be the subject of the visit of the secretary.
