USA Rescuers Search for survivors After String of Storms

The tornado outbreak, unusual for this time of the year, has left around 32 fatalities in several States. Indiana reported 15 casualties, 13 in Kentucky, three in Ohio and one in Alabama. In the morning rescuers searched for survivors in obliterated neighbourhoods.
The storm has affected the South and Midwest of United States, parts of western Florida, southern Georgia and southern Alabama remained in tornado watch.
The killer storms have left a path of destruction from Alabama, following Tennessee and from Indiana to Ohio. John Gordon, a meteorologist for the National Weather Service has described the weather as crazy. (AV)
